Around 9 April 2021, (as reported on), 6 children of an tribal leader were wounded as a result of a bomb that went off in the city of Mazar-e Sharif, Balkh. No one has taken responsibility for the bombing. The bomb had been planted in the car of the tribal elder and went off at night when the car was parked inside their house.
