On 24 April 2021, an unidentified drone carried out an airstrikes on a Beirut-registered oil tanker off the coast of Banyas in Tartous, reportedly killing 3 Syrians on board. Several sources suggested it was an Iranian tanker. The drone could have come from Lebanese territorial waters. 3 fatalities.
