On 25 April 2021, Afghan police forces were targeted by an IED set by the Taliban on the Delhi Dam bridge in the Shah Wali Kot, Kandahar. The bridge blew up as a result of the explosion. The Taliban have denied setting the explosive. No information on whether there were casualites.
