On 4 May 2021, in Bauk Htaw ward, Yankin township (Yangon-East district, Yangon Region), two bombs exploded in front of the hospital recently opened by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing. No injuries reported. Two explosions were reported in the township at around 8pm.
