Following security monitoring and tracking operations, a unit from the army, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, seized a quantity of rockets, weapons, military ammunition, and detonation devices in the outskirts of Aiha Maraj Al-Tout – Rashaya.

Additionally, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate in the town of Kfarzabad - Bekaa arrested 8 citizens for forming a gang involved in smuggling and selling weapons and military ammunition from Syrian territories to Lebanese territories, and seized in their possession a quantity of weapons and military ammunition, in addition to several vehicles they used to carry out their operations.

The seized items were handed over, and an investigation with the detainees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
