On 24 March 2021, 4 policemen were killed and 1 was wounded when their Humvee hit a Taliban-planted roadside bomb in the Zarmast area of Ab Kamari district, Baghlan. 2-5 Taliban militants were killed and 7 were wounded when they attack the police forces after the bombing. Fatalities coded as 6 (VoJ reported 5 Afghan soldiers were killed, including a commander, and 4 others were wounded in a landmine set by the Taliban that exploded).
