On 18 January 2021, US forces in coordination with the government security forces (SNA) carried out an airstrike, targeting an Al Shabaab militants compound, in the vicinity of Tayeeglow town (Tayeeglow, Bakool). The strike destroyed one compound. No fatalities and/or injuries reported.
