On 17 January 2021, several IS-planted landmines detonated in the Al-Tayibah area in Homs killing over 9 members of the 5th Assault Corps, Quds Brigade, and QDW during anti-IS clearance operations. 5 of those killed were members of Quds Brigade. Total fatalities coded to 10.
