On 13 March 2021, HBDH militants carried out a remote explosive attack targeting a coffeehouse in Kagithane district of Istanbul, due to its clientele's right wing political affiliations. No interaction with civilians was reported and although no information on casualties was provided, fatalities coded as 0 as the attack occurred early in the morning when the shop was closed.
