On 13 March 2021, a remote controlled IED by a unknown group detonated, targeting a government security forces (SNA) vehicle with a SNA senior official onboard passing near Suuqa-Berta, Affisyone road neighborhood in Mogadishu - Waaberi district (Waaberi, Banadir). Three soldiers, and one civilian bystander were killed.
