On 13 March 2021, an IED, likely planted by Ansar Abu Bakr al Saddiq Brigade, targeted a Turkish forces column as it was travelling on the Cornishe Street in the city of Idleb. Ansar Abu Bakr al Saddiq Brigade claimed that the attack was in response to the killing of a child by Turkish forces in the village of Madlousa in the countryside of Salqin. Sources claimed that the IED was found and detonated by Turkish forces. Neither injuries nor fatalities were reported.
