On 18 March 2021, in Baw Net Gyi village (Bago Township, Bago District, Bago Region), an unknown armed group fired three MM-107 artillery shells reportedly targeting the Myanmar military base, according to the Myanmar military. However, although some residents also reportedly heard the sound of explosions, others said they hear no explosions.
