SOHR activists have reported that an IED placed in a bag by unknown persons exploded in front of a shop in the center of the market of al-Busayrah city, which is controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor. Initial reports suggested that three people were injured and a motorcycle was burned down near the site of the explosion.
