On 16 February 2021, Turkish forces shelled areas in Ein Issa countryside in Ar-Raqqa using artillery fire. Turkish forces also targeted a QSD vehicle near Istirahat al Saqr on the M4 highway causing material damages. Neither fatalities nor injuries were reported.
