On 17 February 2021, 2 policemen were killed and 3 wounded when a police Humvee was hit by a Taliban planted roadside IED blast in Rahzanak (Rowzanak) area of Ghoryan district, Herat province. The police forces accompanied a convoy of investigation team to the latest Islam-Qalah border customs blaze incident.
