On 18 February 2021, unknown militants detonated a roadside explosive device targeting a convoy carrying logistical materials for the US belonging to a contractor (Iraqi company and drivers) for the Global Coalition in and unspecified location in Diwaniya district, Qadissiya province. 1 injury and no fatalities.
