On 8 March 2021, a district police chief was killed in a Taliban planted roadside bomb blast in Sar Tasan (Tasin) area of Dih Yak district, Ghazni province. Taliban spokesperson claimed that 4 police including the police chief were killed and 3 wounded in the blast.
