Around 8 February 2021 (as reported), Paktia governor spokesperson said that a Taliban planted IED targeted an army convoy in Paktia province but caused no casualties. VoJ reported that at least 4 Afghan security personnel were killed and 1 wounded after their vehicle was hit by a Taliban planted landmine in Gardez city, Paktia province. Fatalities coded as 0 (VoJ reported 4 fatalities).
