On 8 February 2021, a vehicle of the deputy minister of agriculture was targeted and destroyed by an unidentified militants' roadside IED blast in Omid-e Sabz Township, PD6 of Kabul city that wounded 2 civilians. In another blast, 1 civilian was killed after a private car was hit by an unidentified militants' planted magnetic bomb blast in Nadir Pashtun Road, PD2, Kabul city. Ariana TV reported another unknown engineered blast in PD11 that had no casualties.
