On 9 February 2021, a security forces tank was hit by a Taliban planted IED in Eid-Gah area of Obe district in Herat province that killed and wounded all security personnel on board. Fatalities coded as 0 (VoJ reported unknown fatalities that coded as 3 due to the carrying capacity of a tank).
