On 10 February 2021, unknown militants detonated a roadside explosive device targeting a convoy carrying logistical materials for the US belonging to a contractor (Iraqi company and drivers) for the Global Coalition on the Al Yusufiyah road south of Baghdad City. No injuries or fatalities. Material damage to one vehicle.
