On 11 February 2021, unidentified armed group from Afghanistan fired mortar shells across the Afghanistan-Pakistan border that landed at Mokha, Gandai and Gali villages of Mamund tehsil (Bajaur, KPK) (aggregated to tehsil hq since the villages could not be located) killing a boy and injuring seven people and damaging several houses.
