On 28 February 2021, in the rural area of Murindo municipality, Antioquia department, two members of the Embera indigenous community of the indigenous reserve land Rio Murindo y Rio Chagerado were injured after stepping on a land mine. One of the victims was a teacher in the community. Sources reported two to three victims, moreover, a different source claimed one of the victims had died. Members of the ELN are suspected of planting the explosives. 1 fatality.
