On 30 January 2021, a landmine, previously planted by IS, exploded in the vicinity of Faydat Bin Muwaynah in the desert of Al Mayadin in Deir-ez-Zor, killing 4 QDW fighters and wounding several others, who were sweeping the area in search of IS cells. 4 fatalities.
