On 29 March 2021, HBDH militants carried out a remote explosive attack in the industrial zone in Arnavutkoy town, Istanbul, inflicting material damage to a transformer providing electricity. No interaction with civilians was reported, but the disruption in the electricity supply to the factories halted the production.
