Around 2 April 2021 (as reported), a Sudanese shepherd from the Al Lahuin ethnic group was killed and two others were wounded when they triggered an explosive device at Umm Adara in El Quresha locality (Gedaref state), described as being close to the international boundary [coded to Safarah]. It is not specified whether the device was unexploded ordnance or a landmine.
