On 24 February 2021, Afghan air force targeted and destroyed a Taliban prepared car bomb in Saydabad district, Wardak province before it reached its target. No clear information on casualties, 1 fatality coded for the car bomb's driver. Around the same date, 4 electricity power pylons were reported destroyed in the clashes between Taliban militants and Afghan security forces in the limits of Saydabad district, Wardak province. Possibly part of the same event.
