On 7 October 2020, a landmine, previously planted by an unidentified armed group, exploded when a group of civilians returned to the countryside of Abu Rasin in Al-Hasakeh after they were ambushed by Turkish border guards as they entered Turkish territory. 2 people were killed while the rest are missing. 2 fatalities.
