On 7 October 2020, above Kone Hat village, 8 km northeast of Pong Woe village (Kyaukme Township, Kyaukme District, Shan State), Myanmar military fired at RCSS with two helicopter gunships. Two houses were damaged. Several villagers fled. The helicopters also sent troops and supplies and carried back wounded soldiers. Fatalities not reported.
