On 10 October 2020, about 20 shells fell around Dar Let village (Ann Township, Kyaukpyu District, Rakhine State). The shells were believed to be fired by Myanmar military from a mountain between Gat Chaung and Kazu Kaing. Two fishermen were injured. On the following day, one of the two injured persons died.
