On 2 October 2020, Iraqi military forces conducted airstrikes in various villages (around 15 uninhibited villages), including Aradi Hawi al Maytah, in Daur district, on the Sala al-Din -Diyala border, targeting six IS dens. Sources reported that these airstrikes resulted in the destruction of 17 IS dens in various locations and left 6 militants killed (fatalities split over two locations).
