On 3 October 2020, a VBIED planted by an unidentified armed group near a checkpoint in al Hal market roundabout detonated killing 3 members of the National Police Forces and wounding 6 other individuals, some of whom assumed to be civilian. Another member of the National Police Forces succumbed to his wounds on 05/10/2020. 4 fatalities.
