On 6 October 2020, the administrative chief of Dawlat Shah district of Laghman province was killed along with 2 of his bodyguards and 2 other wounded by a roadside IED in Anda Kori area of the district. Taliban spokesman tweeted confirming the attack was part of their spring offensive, called 'Al-Fath'.
