On 6 October 2020, in Pyin Shey (Sa Hpo Kyun) village (Rathedaung Township, Sittwe District, Rakhine State), an artillery shell fell into the village. Casualties in the village not reported. Residents accused Myanmar military of shelling into the villages as Myanmar military travelled along the Mayu river with four navy vessels and two-speed boats.
