On 28 September 2020, two unidentified Katyusha rockets fell in the Albu Shabaan area, Radwaniyah in Baghdad, killing 5 civilians (2 women, 3 children) and wounding 2 children who later succumbed to their injuries raising the total number killed to 7. The rockets were reportedly launched from the Al Jihad neighbourhood and targeted the Baghdad Airport where US forces are stationed, but fell short.
