The bomb squad descended on Cookham yesterday after a suspected unexploded tank round was found in the woods. Mill Lane was shut on Sunday while the Royal Logistic Corps from RAF Northolt inspected the device, which was found in woodland. Police said the ordnance was suspected to be an old 18 pounder or 75mm tank round" and a cordon was set up."
