On 13 September 2020, in Goke Pi Htaunt village (Kyauktaw township, in Mrauk-U district of Rakhine State), an artillery shell hit a house and injured two Muslim villagers, a 30-year-old mother of two children and a 22-year-old boy. The shell was fired by Myanmar military coming down along the Kalandan river with two navy ships.
