On 17 September 2020, Turkish forces supported by Turkey backed JWS whom are operating under OPS shelled Hamdoosh farm in rural Abu Rasin town in Al-Hasakeh countryside with artillery targeting regime and QSD forces' positions, while clashes erupted between both sides. Neither injuries nor fatalities were reported.
