Russian chemical plant damaged in drone attack last night

As ASTRA found out, drones attacked the Saratov chemical plant LLC Saratovorgsintez overnight on January 21. The attack damaged windows in one of the plant's workshops. No injuries have been reported. Earlier, Russia's Ministry of Defense stated that four drones were shot down over the Saratov region during the night.

Saratovorgsintez is a petrochemical enterprise and a leading producer of acrylonitrile, acetonitrile, and sodium cyanide in Russia. It operates as a subsidiary of Lukoil.
