UEMS / Ammunition Depot event in Shiraz area, Iran, Islamic Republic of on Fri 10th January 2025

This is actually the unveiling of Isfahan's missile megacity known as Shahid Ahmad Kazemi. This facility showcases a vast array of liquid-fuel missiles, including Qiam, Ghadr & Emad. The site is expansive enough to accommodate over 2,000 long range ballistic missiles,with tens of missiles (if not more) already mounted on launchers.

Spanning kilometers with an extensive network of branching hardened tunnels, this megacity is so vast that vehicles are required to travel around. Such sites also house a command & control center for missile operations & are equipped to sustain several hundred personnel for extended period of time, with living arrangements in place for months.

The destruction of such heavily fortified sites is an immense challenge, feasible only through nuclear strikes. As seen in Yemen, even bunker-busting bombs have proven largely ineffective, merely sealing entrances that can be reopened in a short time. 

While such attacks may disrupt operations & create delays - making timing a critical factor - the presence of numerous similar megacities & tactical sites in Iran reduces the overall strategic impact of targeting any single or multiple missile sites. 

Such strategic locations, designed to execute devastating launches, play a crucial role in Iran’s deterrence strategy. If the reentry vehicles (RVs) were to carry chemical or biological agents, the scale of destruction would be dramatically amplified!
