Two Commandos of CoBRA (Commando Battalion for Resolute Action) were injured when a pressure improvised explosive device (IED) planted by the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) went off in the Basaguda Police Station area in Bijapur District in the Bastar division of Chhattisgarh on January 16, reports The Hindu. The injured duo, Mridul Barman and Mohd. Ishaq of the CoBRA 206th battalion, was part of a team that was out on an area domination operation.
