Grenade event in Manipur, Leimaram Uyok Ching, Bishnupur District area, India on Thu 16th January 2025

On January 16, Manipur Police announced on X that Security Forces (SFs) recovered one 51 mm Mortar Tube Launcher, one SLR with one magazine,  one Sniper Rifle, three 40 mm Lathode Shell, four SLR live ammunition, four 36 HE Grenade, one Smoke Bomb, one 12 Bore Cartridge, five .303 Blank Cartridge, six Rubber Bullet, three Tear Smoke Shell 50 M, one Tear Smoke Shell 135 M, one Chilli Tear Smoke Shell 136 M, three Stunt Shell, one HE MK-I, two WT Set, three camouflage long pant, two magazine pouch and two pairs of hunting shoes from the adjoining fringe area of Aigejang and Leimaram Uyok Ching under Nambol-Police Station in Bishnupur District of Manipur.
