A 10-year-old girl was injured when a pressure improvised explosive device (IED) planted by Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) went off on the outskirts of Timmapuram village under Chintalnar Police Station area in Sukma District in the Bastar division of Chhattisgarh on January 12, reports The Hindu. The girl inadvertently stepped over the pressure IED, triggering the blast, Police said.
