An Islamic State Khorasan Province (IS-KP) and a Taliban fighter were killed in a gunfight at the Jalalabad Police command in Nangarhar Province when three suspected operatives tried to enter the security facility, reports The Khorasan Diary on January 12. A Taliban Police official stated, “Two of them managed to escape.”
