Security Forces (SFs) discovered two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) planted by the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) during anti-Maoist operation in the Awapalli area in Bijapur District in the Bastar division of Chhattisgarh on January 10, reports indiatvnews.com. The explosives were found by a joint team of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and local Police while they were clearing the road in the Awapalli area. The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) successfully destroyed the IEDs, preventing a major disaster.
