Khalid Shams, Assistant Commissioner of Zehri town in Khuzdar District of Balochistan, narrowly escaped an attack when his vehicle was targeted in an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion upon his return from a security check post. Earlier on January 6, Zehri town was targeted in a major armed attack and seize by the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) cadres for about 10 hours
