A young girl was killed while several others were injured on January 6-morning when Security Forces (SFs) reportedly opened fire on passengers traveling through the Dak Nokkundi area of Chagai District in Balochistan, reports The Balochistan Post. The injured included both local residents and Afghan nationals. Local residents said that SFs had imposed strict restrictions on Afghan travelers in the Dak area for the past 20 days. These measures include detaining drivers in camps and confiscating their vehicles, creating heightened tensions in the region.
