At least two militants were killed when a projectile hit a compound suspected of housing militants in the Skaranbo jungles of Hassankhel area in Peshawar District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on January 7, reports The Khorasan Diary. “There were at least 3 major explosions heard late last night” local sources told The Khorasan Diary. The area has been a travel route for Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants. The local TTP head Salman was reported to be in the area, said the sources.
