Grenade event in Punjab, Batala, Gurdaspur District area, India on Sun 29th December 2024

On December 29, while attacking on Police to evade custody, two Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorists, Abhijot Singh and Kuljit Singh, sustained bullet injuries and were later arrested along with three others, identified as Rohit alias Ghessi, Shubham, and Gurjinder Singh alias Raja in Batala area in Gurdaspur District of Punjab, reports The Statesman. Two pistols including a 9mm Glock pistol and one .32-bore pistol were also recovered. This terror module was being operated by foreign-based Harpreet Singh alias Happy Passia and Shamsher alias Honey, was involved in throwing hand grenades at Ghaniae Ke Bangar Police Station in Batala, Gurdaspur on December 12 and the Wadala Bangar Police Post in Gurdaspur on December 20.
