The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on December 21, said that eight militants were killed during the clash of militants’ attack on security post at the Lita Sar area of Makeen tehsil (revenue unit) in South Waziristan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the night of December 20, reports Aaj News. Earlier, it was reported that at least 16 soldiers were killed and eight other soldiers sustained injuries in the militant attack. “The attempt was effectively thwarted by own troops and in ensuing fire exchange, eight khwarij were sent to hell,” the ISPR said in a statement
